"Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles, and less than perfect conditions. So what? Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident, and more and more successful." Mark Victor Hansen
I have a hard time getting things started sometimes. Because I want things to be "just right". I am not sure what "just right" means, so sometimes things don't get done. I am learning that not everything will be perfect the first time. I am also learning that if I don't start or try, then how will I know if I can do it or not. I joined the cross country team pretty much because I needed the PE credits. I wasn't sure if I wanted to join, I even tried to talk myself out of it, but I decided to try it. The first time I went to a meet, I wasn't very happy with my time and even thought about quitting, but every time I went to a meet, I improved my time. I got faster and faster. I also found out that I like to run long distances. I am glad I didn't quit.
